Leprosy is an infectious disease that lead to many problems. Leprosy can be transmitted through a close, long and intense relationship with patient. Therefore, the patient's family have a greater risk on Leprosy transmission. The dependent variable was the family's behavior in prevention of Leprosy transmission. Data were collected by using questionnaires and observation, then analyzed by using Spearman's Rho Test with level of significance a <0.05. Factors perceived benefits of action (p= 0.478); perceived barriers to action (p= 0,478); perceived self-efficacy (p= 0,679); activity related affect (p= 0.519) have no correlation with family's behavior in prevention of Leprosy transmission. It can be concluded that behaviour specific cognition and affect were not have correlation with family's behavior in prevention of Leprosy transmission. Further studies are expected to be developed and may identify a significant correlation by increasing the number of samples. The results of this study can be used by nurses to find the dominant factors or other factors in HPM that correlation with family's behavior in prevention of Leprosy transmission.
