Abstract

School Aged Children is one of the risk healthy problems group. Many children have the underweight because their nutrition which eaten was not balance with their daily activity. One of alternative which can be given to them is Modisco 111. Modisco III which mixed with sweets food is very effective for children because Modisco III is small portion but ingredient of calory and high protein so easy to be digested. Modisco Ill can be given to children who have the underweight, recovery from illness, children who have many activities, and children who need more energy. This study was aimed to identificate body weight before and after getting Modisco Ill and analyse effect of Modisco HI to the body weight increase of school aged children at Kragan Elementary School. Design used in this study was One group Pre-Post Design. The population was all pupils in the first class elementary school. Total samples were 25 respondents, taken according to inclusion criteria. The independent variable was Modisco Ill feeding. The dependent variable was body weight increase of School Aged Children. Data were collected using observation and content analyse. Data were analyzed using Paired T-Test with level of significance of a < 0,05. Result showed that Modisco III feeding has effect to body weight increase of school aged children (p = 0,001). Further studies should involve larger respondent and better measurement instrumen to obtain more accurate conclusion.
