Abstract

Currently Dengue Hemorrhage Fever (DHF) is still one the health problem in Indonesia which can bring social and economic impact. This disease closely related to human behavior. UGA DRIVER (Snakes Ladders Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever) game is a health education using fun method, which appropriate to school aged children development. The aim of research was to analyze the influence of UGA DRIVER of DHF prevention game to knowledge and attitude of 4th and 5th grade students. The research used pre-experiment design (one group pre test - post test design). The samples comprised of 80 respondens from 4th and 5th grade students in SDN Pancakarya 1 Jember. Data was analized using wilcoxon signed ranks test with level of significance α ≤ 0,05. Result showed that UGA DRIVER had significance influence to increase knowledge and attitude increased with =0,000 and =0,020. UGA DRIVER has significance influence to increase the knowledge and attitude to DHF prevention of 4th and 5th grade students. It is suggested this game as a media of health education for children to increase awareness and the important of healthy behavior in early stage.
