Abstract

Osteoporosis is a bone disease caused by bone-mass loss significantly so that bone could be sponged, become weak, brittle, and prone to fracture. The disease oftenly acquire 10 menopause women whose the production of the hormone estrogen has decreased and effecting bone mass forming. The disease could be prevented by routine exercise. consuming foods with high nutrition, high calcium, and vitamin D. One that could to be done to suppress its effect is by routine exercise such as osteoporosis-exercise. This osteoporosis-exercise could increase patients' bone mass. This research meant 10 proofostcoporosis-exercise's effects on the bonemass increases of osteoporosis patients. This research use pre-experimental research design and one group post-test and post -test research method on the area of RW III Kelurahan Manukan Kulon Surabaya. The sample for inclusion criteria is 7 person and using purposive sampling technique. Datas are gathered by BMD measurement test and questioners and analized by using Paired t-test Statistics with significanl level p < 0,05. From the statistic test. osteoporosis-exercisc shows significant point on bone mass p - 0,0]5 with significant level p < 0,05. We can ooroclude then that the hipotesis is proofen where the effect of osteoporosis exercise on bone mass of osteoporosis patients.
