Abstract

Caring is needed by children when his parent was working. Day care can be given socialization, protect and care children. In TP A RSU Dr. Soetomo has many program purpose make the best of development child. Based on this problem, the research has purpose to find correlation between caring child in day care with development personal social, language, fine motor adaptive and gross motor in TP A RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. This research is used cross sectional design. Sample consist of nursemaid 3 respondents and child preschool 11 respondents. That are taken by purposive sample method. Observation be instrument to collect data and data were processed with SPSS 13 program of spearman rho with significant value~ 0.05. Result of this research showed that there were significant relationship caring child in day care with development personal social, language and gross motor (p personal social= 0,023, p language= 0,023 and p gross motor= 0,023). There weren't relationship caring child in day care with development fme motor adaptive (p fine motor adaptive= 0,219). The research can be concluded that there have correlation between the caring child in day care with development personal social, language and gross motor. And there isn't correlation between the caring child in day care with development fine motor adaptive. It is apparent that child development isn't only intluenced by caring in day care but also by genetic factors, hereditary factors and environmental factors.
