Abstract

Kesopanan adalah aspek penting dari interaksi manusia. Setiap kelompok budaya mungkin memiliki cara yang berbeda untuk mengekspresikan kesopanan. Berdasarkan kajian literatur, penelitian tentang kesantunan telah dilakukan di berbagai negara dan budaya. Namun, di Indonesia belum banyak penelitian tentang kesantunan yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini menyelidiki sistem kesantunan masyarakat etnis Tionghoa di Kawasan Kebudayaan Jawa (Indonesia)
