Abstract
This research is conducted to revealed how the effect of giving skim milk with high calcium by analize the alteration of calcium level and renal histopathology of mouse {Mus musculus). There are 18 female mouse, 7 - 8 months old which separated become 3 groups of treatment (Po, P1 and P2). Po ( control group) without giving skim milk with high calcium, P1 is giving skim milk which contain calcium between 1.500 until 2.000 mg/ 100 g and P2 is giving skim milk which contain over 2.000 mg/ 100 g. Skim milk is giving for two months, in the morning and evening with interval time 8 until 12 hours. The result from examination of calcium level before and after treatment were analized by using t-test with two sample-connected, afterwhile the result from examination of calcium level after treatment were analized by using Anava and if there was "highly significant", it must continued by using LSD 5%. The result from renal histopathology were analized by using Kruskall Wallis test.The last result of this experiment showed that skim milk with high calcium were capable to increase the level of calcium in blood and there weren't showed an important pathology symptoms in mouse's kidneys.
