Abstract
Broken Wings is one of Kahlil's works that is beautifully. In this novel he succeeds to relate between the writer's will in expressing his idea and the reader's hope in reading a literary work. The events hang together excellently so that it gives satisfaction to the readers.He does it by using lexical cohesion. He uses hyponym, partwhole and antonym to represent his idea to the readers. This thesis will analyze and describe how Kahlil uses lexical cohesion in the novel.
