Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of urban farming program to income assistance recipients and to investigate the potential in the development of dumbo catfish hatchery fish. In this study, sample taken 369 samples from 4.688 recipients residing in all areas of Surabaya. The analytical method used in this study was cross sectional analysis. From the results of statistical calculations with SPSS version 13 was found a linear regression equation: Y = 8.656 + 0.564 Xl + 0.130 X2, which means that the relationship of economic improvement and the prospect of development breeding towards urban farming program was positive (unidirectional). Urban farming program provides significant value to the economic improvement of the recipient with a t-tabel value of13.763 and prospect of development was expected by the recipient with a significant value 0 f 3.61.
