Skripsi thesis, UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA.
Abstract
Respiratory Distress Syndrome causes hypoxia in neonates. The given of O2 Head box and O2 Head box combination conventional Continuous Positive Airway Pressure is aimed to prevent the hypoxia. However, this moment, it's still a controvert ion. Thus, this research is conducted to see the difterence between the use of O2 Head box and O2 Head box combination conventional CP AP toward oxygen and respiration rate. The research uses pre post test group control design. Which is located in NICU RSSI ward, the sample is taken from all the reachable population, they are the 10 neonates patients who used O2 Head box and 1 neonates patients who use O2 head box combination conventional CP AP, so they are 20 neonates who have been observed Sp02 and Respiration Rate, and the result is collected from the tabulation, and then it had been analyzed statistically using Paired T Test and Independent T Test where the level The result in this research that use the statistical test shows that Sp02 and Respiration Rate in the usage of O2 combination conventional CPAP P = 0,000 According to the data analysis it can be concluded that the use of 02 Head box combination CP AP conventional is very effective in Respiratory Distress Syndrome case to prevent hypoxia therefore death and disability can be prevented or eliminated.
