Abstract

Family functioning is to have a treatment health and preventing action from any health disturbance or take care of an injured family member especially babies. During the time, family treatments to the injured member are less of attention unseriously especially to a baby and always under estimated ~he ISP A, so that often, relapsing and even a worse complication were occurred. The family ability in giving a health treatment would influencing family health status. This ability could be seen from the family roles in running 5 ( five ) family health tasks. The family who able did it well will could solve any family health problems. The target of this research was to analysing family roles in running five family health task in handling re-ISP A to the babies. The research was designed in descriptive way. The population was a f~mily who have been visiting to working area which was at "MOJO Public Health Service" by 30 ISPA's babies responder. The sample was obtained by using judgemental sampling methods. Data c-01lecting used quesioner ( opened interview ) and then been analysed ( content analysis ). From the result, concluded that the family could running 5 ~mily haelth task, where they werw able to recognized and understood about symptoms, causes, infections way, preventives, treatments and take care of baby who has infected by ISP A. The family has also reached any presence health service facilities such as Public Health Service, midwifes and clinically practical doctors. The family motivations to get rnrming five family health tasks especially in handling re-ISPA and the cooperation between health officer and family are required.
