Abstract

It is possible for anybody to suffer from anxiety. At the pregnancies time, a women with pregnancy period will be worried about their condition. Basically, anxiety is divided into several levels, from normal state, mild, medium, to severe anxiety. This research aimed to analyze the effect of several factors to the level of anxiety on pregnancies woman by description survey with cross sectional design. Ten pregnancies women are purposive sampled out of 36 population of 20-35 years old woman with anxiety. Data was collected with questionnaires and analyzed by Spearman's correlation technique. This result shows that factor having significant effect on the level of anxiety on pregnancies women are birth perception, husband support, and education level. This research concludes that the better those significant factors can be maintained, the lower anxiety level can be suppressed. The result are that 60% respondent are Junior high school and senior high school graduates, 70% respondent have a good birth perception, and 70% respondent were supported by their husband. The result of statistical test indicate that there is significant correlation between birth perception (p=0,01), level of education (p=0,006), and husband support (p=0,001) With level of anxiety. Birth perception, husband support, and education level correlate with the anxiety level of pregnancies woman. Many kinds of psychological element · that influence of the birth and caused the anxiety considering it have not only somatic character but also psychosomatic character. It is concluded that birth perception, husband support, and level education have significant correlation with the anxiety level of pregnancies woman who endure the emotional support and comprehensive information about pregnancies advised by medic and paramedics staff, are suggested in order to lower the anxiety level of patient.
