Abstract
Dysmenorrhoea is a commont complaint of adolescent female. There are many factors that associated with the incident of dysmenorrheal physical abnormality (Endometriosis, tumors, and abnormal position of the uterus), physical activity, and psychological condition such depression, anxiety, and stress. This research using analytic design with cross sectional method. The selected population in this research are female student of class X GIKI 2 Surabaya. The collected sample was 22 female student that fulfills the inclusion criteria taken by purposive sampling technique. Independent variable in this research includes physical activity, depression, anxiety, and stress. Dependent variable in this research was the incident of dysmenorrhoea. Data were taken by questionnaire and were analyzed by Spearman's Rho Correlation test with significance level at p< 0,05. Results showed that there were significance corelation between anxiety (p= 0,000) and strees (p= 0,000) with the incident of dysmenorrhoea. There were no corelation between physical activity (p= 0,286) and depression (p= 0,812) with the incident of dysmenorrhoea. It can be concluded that higher levels of anxiety and stress in adolescent girls lead to higher incident of dysmenorrhoea. Further research about correlation of cervical canal obstruction, allergy, and endocrine factor is suggested associated with dysmenorrhoea.
