Abstract

The succeed in study is influenced by intenal and external factor. Desire and motivation are internal factor which influence the study result. External factor (such as school) which influence study result are teaching method, curriculum, relationship between lecturer and student, school disciplinary, learning facilities, learning time, and learning method. This research conducted in order to examine some factor related to study result. Design used in this study was cross sectional, with the sample of 2005 student of Nursing Program Departement In Medical Faculity Airlangga University. The number of student examined for the research was 104. The technical collection used is simple random sampling. The research instruments were divided into two closing questionnaire analyzed by Spearman Rho, and open questionnaire analyzed by content analysis The result of the research shows that there is connection between internal factor (desire) and study result with significant p = 0,030, while the connection between intenal factor (motivation) and study result has significant level of p = 0,000, further the connection exist between external factor ( school) and study result shows significant level p= 0,043 The result concludes students study result needs increasing desire, motivation, and external factor such as school.
