Abstract

Code Blue team is a medical emergency in which a team of medical personal work to revive an individual in cardiac arrest. Patient who has cardiac arrest are need quick nursing intervention. The objective of the study was to analyzed "nursing intervention with return of spontaneous 'Circulation" in Surabaya lntemasional Hospital Design used in this study was descriptive design. The population was all nurse pass ACLS course with certificate and working in Surabaya lntemasional Hospital. Total sample was 34 respondents, taken according to inclusion criteria. The Independent variables were response time, attitudes and nursing intervention for cardiac arrest patients. The dependent variable was return of spontaneous circulation for cardiac arrest patient. Data were collected using structured questionnaire, respondent observation and medical record then that data collected were later analyzed with frequency distribution of each category. Result showed that response time in nursing intervention for cardiac arrest patient had correlation with return of spontaneous circulation, nurses attitude in threat cardiac arrest patient had correlation with return of spontaneous circulation and nursing intervention in cardiac arrest patient also had correlation with return of spontaneous circulation It can be concluded that's nursing intervention in cardiac arrest patient has significant correlation with return of spontaneous circulation. Further studies should carried out effectiveness and efficiency nursing intervention on return of spontaneous circulation for patients with cardiac arrest .
