Abstract

The nurse task in management period IV mother confinement very important to reduce possibility of the happened complication postpartum so able to decrease the death rate number of baby and mother. To know performance the nurse task in management period IV mother confinement, so conducted reseach about relationship and behaviour with performance of the nurse task in management period IV mother confinement in Narmada Public Health Center West Lombok Nusa Tenggara Baral. Design of the reseach that ap/ied is descriptive analytic that to have the caracter of "Cross Sectional ". The respondent is all nurses in Narmada Public Health Center/hat fa/ fil criteria inklusi (total sampling). Number respondents are 34 people. The data collected with use kuesioner that filled up by respondents along with performed directed observation. Data that obstained analised using SPSS 11.00 program then tested with using test Chi-Square with le/el significant pS0.005. The result of reseach showthat there is relationship that significant between knowledge and performance of the nurse task in management period IV mother confinement (p::; 0.000) and behaviour with performance of the nurse task in the management period IV mother confinement. To avoid possibility of the happened compl,cat,on post partum and decrease the death rate number of mother and baby so nessesary to improve knowledge and to correct behaviour of nurse because it would be to influence performance of the nurse task I management period IV mother confinement.
