Abstract

The health education is a method in order that an individual, group and society use healthy behavior by informing health education with the method of giving a speech and role play. It is expected to be able to change the knowledge, attitude and skill of Posyandu cadres. This research is aimed at identifying the knowledge, attitude and skill of cadres before and after giving health education (lecture and role play) as well as identifying the impact of health education (lecture and role play) on the change of the knowledge, attitude and skill of cadres The design used in this research is Pre Experimental design. The population of the research is all cadres of posyandu at Baosan Lor village (25 cadres). The respondents taken are based on inclusion criteria ( 14 cadres) independent variable is health education ( lecture and role play), dependen variable is knowledge, attitude and skill of collecting data obtained by questionnaires and observation. The data is analised by using the statistic test of wilcoxon signed rank test with the value p<O,05. The result of research obtained is that there is an impact of health education ( lecture and role play) on improving knowledge with the score p=O,OOI, attitude with the score p=O,004 and skill with the score p=O,OOl. There is improvement of score on the change of skill but with unsinificant category. The health education (lecture and -role play) has an impact on improving knowledge, attitude and skill of posyandu cadres Baosan Lor Ngrayun Ponorogo but with little improvement skill. Then, the research need several variables in order that more results will be obtained.
