Abstract

Elderly visit behavior to the public health care center can influence life expectancy age themselves. Therefore, regularly or optimal visits and family suppots are needed in accordance with the number of health condition decreased among the elderly. This research purpose is to analyze the relation between support and elderly visit to the public healthcare center. This research uses two cross-sectional design. The populations are all families which there are elderly in it. Samples are taken by purposive sampling way. Dependent variable is family support. The data are taken by questionnaire, observation, and documentation study, then to be analyzed using Spearman Rho Statistic Test, with meaning level p < 0.05. Researc result shows that there is a relation between family support and elderly visit behavior to the public healthcare center, to be analyzed by knowledge domain and psychomotor, while family support with elderly behavior to the public healthcare do not show significant result and the relation which is caused of someone behavior are influenced by psychological conditions at that time and analyzed as an unseen behavior. The conclusion is family support has a correlation with elderly visit behavior to the public healthcare center. Family support does not have a correlation with elderly attitude the public healthcare , because sufficient knowledge does not always produce positive behavior.
