Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze influence of gift carrot juice during chemotherapy to rate of Hb and amount of lymphosite at patient of Ca Cervix grade lIb. Patient of Ca Cervix experiencing chemotherapy can experience degradation of rate of Hb and amount of lymphosite effect of bone marrow suppression. Effort to increase rate of Hb and amount of lymphosite by natural use carrot juice. content of nutrition of carrot juice like beta karoten, ferrum, calcium, vitamin B, vitamin C and protein can assist bone marrow produce Hb and lymphosite. This study used quasy experiment design, population was the patient staying at gynecology room. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling, technique stipulating of sampel by chosening sample among population matching with the one which fulfill research criterion until certain range of time with the total sample 16 patients. The independent variable in this research was the influence of gift carrot juice during chemotherapy and the dependent variable was rate of Hb and amount of lymphosite. The data were collected by using Paired ttest and Independent t-test, at significance of p = 0,05. The result showed that influence of gift carrot juice on the chage of rate of Hb (p = 0,005) and amount of lymphosite (p = 0,253). Lymphosite, it had not significant. The conclusion, gift of carrot juice at patient experiencing chemotherapy, proven can improve rate of Hb and do not have an effect on many to amount of lymphosite.
