Abstract

The high risk pregnancy is the condition certainly optimal influence the mother and the embryo in pregnancy situation. Early detection of pregnancy in present its necessary needed because if there are any troubles threaten mother and the embryo it will be soon detected. Well knowledge and good attitude in conducting early detection of high risk pregnancy be able to decrease mother and embryo mortality that caused by high risk pregnancy. The design of this research is Cross Sectional which base on the location at Pregnancy Room Aisyiyah Hospital in Ponorogo. The sample of this research is pregnant mother \vith high risk 30 persons. The sampel decided by consecutive sampling method. The variables that used in this thesis are Independen variable which have the meaning is knowledge and pregnant mother· s attitude. In dependent variable is conducting or performing the early detection of pregnancy. The data were taken by quesionnaire after tabulated and analized by chj-square statistic test with SPSS software and the meaning of the level is 0.05 . The result of this research showed that the knowledge of pregnant mother in early detection of high risk pregnancy have the middle category (33%), and good category (67% ). The pregnant mother's attitudes in early detection of high risk pregnancy has the positive category (67 %), negative (33 %), and the performing of early detection high risk pregnancy in the middle category (30 % ), good category (70 % ). The result of chi-square rank correlation statistic testing between the knowledge and performing early detection is 25.714 % with signjficant level 0.000 (p < 0.05), meanwhile the result between performing of early detection and the attitude are 25.714 with the significant level 0.000 (p < 0.05 ). Thus have the relationship between the knowledge and pregnant mother's attitude in early detection of high risk pregnancy.
