Abstract
Lower achievement in the subject Anatomy Students of Nursing Program, in Medicine Faculty of Airlangga University Regular Program, Class 2004, is affected by motivation (interest and reward). This study was carried out to identify relations between students' motivation (interest and reward) and achievement in the subject Anatomy.
This was a case study involving of Nursing Program, in Medicine Faculty of Airlangga University Regular Program, class 2004. Total population was 98 students. Sample size was 56 students, comprising 10 male (18%), and 46 female (82%) students, taken using consecutive sampling. Data were processed using Spearman rho correlation test. Results showed p = 0.968 and p = 0.121, indicating no relations between students' motivation (interest and reward) and the achievement in the subject of Anatomy in the students of Nursing Program, in Medicine Faculty of Airlangga University Regular Program, Class 2004.
In addition to motivation (interest and reward), other factors affecting the reduction of study achievement in those students are also worth to study.
