Abstract

Pregnancy is a natural process, but it needs additional attention and treatment so it can run well and safely for the health of mother and infant. One of the most important antenatal treatments is TT Immunization, because it can prevent the neonatal death caused by tetanus. Based on the above explanation, so the observer held the study of "the relation between the knowledge level of primigravida woman about IT Immunization of pregnant woman and the woman's attitude in TT Immunization completeness in polyclinic of pregnancy 1 RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya". The purpose of the study was to identify the existence of knowledge level of primigravida woman about TT Immunization of pregnant woman and the woman's attitude in TT Immunization completeness. The design used in this study was cross sectional. The sample was taken from the pregnant women that came in polyclinic of pregnancy T RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. The number of sample was 30 persons. The selection of sample was done with non-probability sampling in consecutive sampling type. The collected data was processed by using Speannan Rho statistic test with signiticant level p ~ 0.05. From the result of Speannan Rho test was obtained that there was relation between the knowledge level of primigravida woman about IT Immunization of pregnant woman and the woman's attitude in TT Immunization completeness with p value = 0.0 II. Based on this study can be concluded that the primigravida woman with the high knowledge level will have positive attitude to complete IT immunization of her pregnancy.
