Abstract
"The aim of this research is to know the role of giving temu hitam as ethanolic extract on leucocyte count oflayer chicken's which were infected by Ascaridia galli. The research carried twenty five chickens that divided in five group treatment. All of group were infected by Ascaridia galli. Group I were not given with temu hitam ethanolic extract, group II were given 100 mg/chick/day, group III were given 200 mg/chick/day, group IV were given 300 mg/chick/day and group V were given 400 mg/chick/day. This research showed that temu hUam ethanolic extract effects on increasing leucocyte count. It could be concluded that temu hUam ethanolic extract was role as an immunostimulator."
