Pengaruh Pembelajaran Finger Painting Terhadap Perkembangan Kognitif Dan Motorik Halus Anak Usia Prasekolah.

Abstract
Preschool ages is a golden age period. So, we must optimalize children development, especially cognitive and fine motor development, because it is important for their future. Finger painting learning was one of stimulate to increase both cognitive and fine motor development. The objective of this research was to analyze the effect of finger painting learning to the cognitive and fine motor development for the preschool ages. This research used pre experimental one group pre post test design. The research was tested in 10th to 20th June 2008. The sampling methode used purposive sampling with total sample 29 respondents. Independent variable in this study was finger painting learning and the dependent variable were the cognitive and fine motor development. The data were collected by using observation paper. The data were analized by Wilcoxon signed rank test, with significance p::; 0,05. The result showed that finger painting learning had significance level on increasing cognitive development (p = 0,003) and fine motor development (p = 0.000) It can be concluded that finger painting learning has effect on cognitive and fine motor development. Further study are recommended on effect of finger painting learning in all developmental aspect
