Abstract
"Nosocomial infection is a health issue that needs attention in its control efforts. To reduce the incidence of nosocomial infection intravenous needles in hospitals and other health facilities need to be applied to prevention and control of infection, one of which is, coaching education and training. Coaching education and training programs can be one of them is to provide health education methods and demonstrations against the installation of FGD infusion of nurses so as to increase and deepen the information and be able to perform according to the standard infusion, no change is expected to further nurses behavior in preventing nosocomial infections infusion needle. Researchers using this type of research ""Pre-Experiment"" with Pre-pascatest design in one group (one group pre-post test design), where subjects were observed prior to the intervention, and then observed again after the intervention. The population covered in this study were all nursing staff at the Pavilion Shofa in RS. Muhammadiyah Lamongan as many as 20 people. While analysis of test data using Wilcoxon test. Results of research with Wilcoxon test showed that health education with the methods of FGD and demonstrations affected the behavior of nurses in preventing nosocomial infections infusion needle. Significant level of knowledge: 0.001, attitude: 0.20 and actions: 0,003. Based on research results is the influence of health education with the methods of FGD and demonstrations against the behavior of nurses in preventing nosocomial infections IV needle in Pavilion Shofa Lamongan Muharnmadiyah Hospital."
