Abstract
Diarrhea Remains the cause of morbidity and mortality in developing countries, including Indonesia. The highest incidence is in children aged 6 – 11 moths and 80% of total mortality is in children of less than 2 years old. To identify maternal Hospital, Waigapu was undertaken from June 19 to July 3 2004. The objective pf this study was to inverstigate correlation between maternal knowledge and action in the prevention of diarrhea at pediatric ward and pediatric clinics, umbu rara meha hospital, waingapu.
