Abstract

Chronic bronchitis is condition with cough ahnost every day and there are sputum, minimally 3 mounth on 1 year and be happened minimally 2 years. Sputum most be cleaned by effective chough with postural drainage. If this condition isn't done that will increase sputum in lungs so ventilation of air not good. This research have goal for to learn influence of effective chough with postural drainage to effective of airway cleaner for cli.ent with chronic bronchitis in lung' s room RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. Desain of research is quasi experiment with pre and post-test group design. The samples are all of client with chronic bronchitis in lung' s room RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Dr. Soetomo. Sum of samples are 33 responden. Data collecting method use observasional and analyse with Chi-Square test with a= 0.05 . Result of research with Chi-Square test describe that there are significan influence between effective chough with postural drainage to cleaner airway effectivity with a = 0.01 to ability to output sputum a = 0.09 , to increase breath sound a = 0.09 , to breath frequency and respiratory rate. Result this research show that a big part of responden can be airway cleaner effective after be quen effectife chough with postural drainage.
