Abstract

The infonned consent influenced by the growth of socio-cultur and technology. To give effect law on doctors or nurses because unfull patient rights on infonnations and the rights on aggrement to medical actions. Research regard to quasy experiment design and started at 19 January 2009 to 27 January 2009. The sampling methode is purposive sampling with totally samples 20 respondens of patient who will done surgery. The independent variable is infonned for consent. and the dependent variable are knowledge and patient attitude. The collecting data is provided by the questioners and observation form. The datas analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann Whitney U Test, in significancy degree a < 0.05. The statistical test result there is significancy influence the improvement of knowledge p = 0.004 change of positive attitude p = 0.003. The statistical test result there is significancy on knowledge and patient attitude. It could be conclude that the infonned for consent improve the knowledge and patimt attitude on medical sevice specially patient who will done surgery.
