This research aim to identify factors that influence parents to play their part in giving their Bronchopneumonia' s child nutrition. This research is a correlative research with a cross sectional research design. And it takes place in the children room of RSUD Dr Soetomo Surabaya. Samples are 30 parents, which have Bronchopneumonia child and · are taken in purposive sampling technique. The independent variables in this research are economical status, job, education, occasinal condition, and familys growing phase. The dependent variables are parents role in giving their Bronkopneumonis child nutrition and moderators variables are familys background, role model, form of family and age of parents. Using Spearman rho analysis model with significance level p ~0.05. This research came to conclusions that economical status has no influence on parents being part of child s nutrition fulfil program! parent s role (p = 0.316). There is influence between father a job and parent s role (p = 0.003), on the opposite, mother s job has no influence on parent s role (p = 0.173). There is an influence between education and parent s role (p = 0.004), and so does occasional condition (p= 0.047). Last there is also influence between family s growing phase and parent s role (p = 0.006). The writer suggest that we increase parent s role and that it would be better if we involved them in child s treatment at the hospital.
