Pengaruh Oral Hygiene Terhadap Pencegahan Moniliasis Pada Bayi Yang Beresiko.

Abstract
Moniliasis is mouth cavity disease that characterized by white spot, especially inside part of the cheeks, soft palatume, the tongue and gums. The infant who have risk to get the moniliasis were premature baby, low birth weight, baby with infection risk (premature rupture of the membrane, severe pre eclamsia). This moniliasis infection could happen caused by bad oral hygiene. This research used pre experimental design by using post test only. The
sum of the sample are 32 respondens taken by purposive sampling technique. The
independent variable of thie study is oral hygiene and the dependent variable of
this research is moniliasis. The data was collected by observation and statistically analyzed using Mann Whitney U Test by significant level p $ 0,05. The result of Mann Whitney U Test is p = 0,000. from the result it was indicated that there is an effect of oral hygiene on preventing oral moniliasis. It can concluded that by doing oral hygiene we can prevent oral moniliasis. The further research about many kind of infections on oral caity which correlated with nursing implementation oral hygiene was recommended.
