Abstract

Professional Nursing Practice Model was a system, process, and values that made nurses manage the nursing care to the patient. Nursing care delivery methods that have not yet fully implemented oriented on efforts to meet the needs of the patient, but were more oriented to the implementation of task (functional model). It can be affected the quality of nursing services. Model of professional nursing care teams was one method that has been done by professional nurse to the patient in group through cooperative and collaborative efforts. The research was aimed to explain effectiveness of applying functional nursing care model and model of professional nursing care team toward the quality of nursing care services in Public Hospitals `Aisyiyah Ponorogo. Design used in this study was static group comparation pra experimental design. The population was all nurses in Multazam and Siti Fadilah Ward, whom deal directly with the clients. There were 59 respondents, taken according to inclusion criteria. Data were collected using structured questionnaire and respondent observation. Data were then analyzed using Mann Whitney U Test with level of significance < 0, 05. Results showed that there were effectiveness model of professional nursing care teams toward the quality of nursing care services in Public Hospitals `Aisyiyah Ponorogo with each significant level p = 0,045. It can be concluded that model professional nursing practice teams more effective toward the quality of nursing care services. Futher this model was expected not only applied in the Siti Fadilah ward, but also in all inpatient units in Public Hospitals `Aisyiyah Ponorogo for improving the quality of nursing services can be achieved with optimal.
