Abstract

Patient's behavior to get on early mobilization of post opration apendictomy still frequently do not appropriate. Unappropriateness of those patient's behavior is predicted because of less health knowledge of patient about early mobilization and information or health education which is given by health officer still less. The purposes of this research was analyse to give effect of health education with audio visual aids toward changes patient's knowledge, attitude and practice in early mobilization of post operation apendictomy at, GI, G2, Hl and 11 Surgical Room Dr. Ramelan Naval Hospital Surabaya. Design which applied at this research is study pre experiment with approach "One group pretest-posttest design". The population was patient who will be get on operation apendictomy at Gl, G2, Hl and 11 Surgical Room Dr. Ramelan Naval Hospital Surabaya, which fulfilling inclution criteria. Sampling method which applied is non probability sampling type purposive sampling technique. Sample of this research total 7 respondent. The independent variable was health education with audio visual aids. The dependent variable were patient's knowledge, attitude, and practice in giving early mobilization post operation of apendictomy. Data were collected using questionnaire and observation to identify respondent's reaction. Analysed using in this research was statistic test Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with degree of meaning p < 0,05. Results of showed that health education with audio visual aids effect of knowledge changes with p = 0,017, there are effect of health education with audio visual aids to attitude change with p = 0,018 and there are health education with audio visual aids effect of practice change with p = 0,017. It can be concluded that health education with audio visual aids was effected to patient's knowledge, attitude and practice changes in early mobilization of post operation apendictomy. Health Education with audio visual aids can be stimulating auditory sense and vision sense together to acceptance information. Further more need to be done research about the effect of health education with audio visual toward changes of patient's beviour in early mobilization of post operation abdomen.
