Abstract
HIV and AIDS disease incidence number among adolescent increases and existing finite of discrimination HIV and AIDS patient still happened. This caused of less knowledge and attitude which still be negative to HIV and AIDS. In line with health education to change indisposed behavior become healthy hence expected by health education can change student knowledge and position about HIV and AIDS becomes better. This research applies research design of Pre Experimental Population taken away from class student 10 MAN Jombang. Sample in this research 24 responded. Independent Variable of this research is health education of HIV and AIDS and dependent variable is knowledge and attitude of student about HIV and AIDS. Data collected by using questionnaire, using analysis test Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, with meaning value p < 0,05. Result from research showing there are health education influence student knowledge and attitude about HIV and AIDS. Result from this research shows knowledge of responder has meaning p = 0,000 and position p = 0,000 Knowledge average yields initially 54,38 becoming 77,71 and average of attitude initially 37,71 becoming 51,75. This shows improvement student knowledge and position about mv and AIDS. Health education method entangling communications two direction between matter givers and matter receiver performed within this research in significant can increase student knowledge and attitude to HIV and AIDS
