Abstract

Indonesia ranked the lowest, compared with Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan on research of children's ability on their physic and game abilities. Playing needed educative game instrument which could be introduced since toddler age. In RW 06 Desa Banjardowo the educative game instrument was given without demonstrating how to play it. Providing educative game instrument was determined by behavior. Demonstration could response behavior through stimulus with the easy to understand and demonstration on how to play the educative game tool. The research was using pre-experimental one-group pre-post test design. Target population in the research was 38 people. Sample that quaJified inclusion criteria was 25 people. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection used statistical analysis of wilcoxon signed rank test with a < 0,05. Result of research with wilcoxon signed rank test prior to and after experiment for mother behavior variable with knowledge parameter was p = 0,000, attitude with result p = 0,018 and practice with result p = 0,000. Forchildren playing activity variable in toddler age the analysis test result was p= 0,000. Demonstration of educative game instrument had influence on mother behavior and game activity of children in toddler age. The demonstration was effectively practiced in repetition for optimal result. The result of research was expected to be discourse for Public Health Center and parents in improving the children growth and development. It is expected to researcher to be able in developing variable including age, sex, health status and environment that influence game activity.
