Abstract

Result of coverage immunization hepatitis B at baby old age 0-7 day in Indonesia still less than 80 % from expected goals. Result of coverage immunization hepatitis B at baby old age 0-7 day in Puskesmas Banjarbaru Town of Banjarbaru Kalimantan South until year 2008 still under 40%. Cause of unseccesfully of giving imunization hepatitis B at baby old age 0-7 day is behavior of family. This research aimed to explain behavior of family in execution immunization hepatitis Bat baby old age 0-7 in region of Puskesmas Banjarbaru. Design used this descriptive analytic design. The population is family owning baby old age 8-30 day exist in region of Puskesmas Banjarbaru Town of Banjarbaru Kalimantan South, total sample was 30 responden. Research variable where behavior of family in practice immunization hepatitis B at baby old age 0-7 day, covering variable sub, knowledge, attitude, and practice in immunization hepatitis B at baby old age 0-7 day. Data collecting with kuesioner and analysed by using statistical test chi-square with level of significance< 0,05. Result of research showed have correlation knowledge with attitude about immunization hepatitis B at baby old age 0-7 day (x2 = 0,000). There have correlation knowledge with family practice with giving immunization hepatitis B at baby old age 0-7 day (x2 = 0,015). There have correlation attitude with family practice with giving immunization hepatitis B at baby old age 0-7 day (x2 = 0,000). Require to education of health with pregnant mother and family and also socialization with midwife or nurse of hospital, chilbirth clinic, midwife of praktik about execution immunization hepatitis Bat baby old age 0-7 day.
