Abstract

Retnavu Pradanie Introduction: Maternal adherence to antenatal care plays an important role in ensuring optimal conditions for mothers and children, especially in the first 1000 days of life. This study is to explain the factors that irifluence ANC compliance. Methods: Retrospective study with a sample of 147 respondents and using purposive sampling technique. Independent variables are health worker support and family economic conditions. The dependent variables were pregnancy weight gain, antenatal care compliance and stunting. Data collection used secondary data from the MCH book, height measurements, and questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Univariate analysis was presented in the form of percentage distribution. This study was analyzed by binary logistic regression (p<0.05) and spearman rho (p<0.05). Results: There was no association between health worker support (p=0.649) and economic condition (p=0.215) with ANC compliance. There was an association between ANC adherence with increased pregnancy weight (p=0.004) and stunting (p<O.OOJ). Discussion: ANC adherence is not associated with health worker support and family economic condition because there are other factors that are associated with education level and insurance ownership. ANC was associated with increased pregnancy weight and stunting. ANC is useful for ensure mothers during pregnancy and childbirth and deliver healthy babies. The more routine the mother does ANC, the more normal the child's height will be. Keywords:
