Abstract

The research was aimed to know the effect of spirulina and rice bran fermentation on lymphocyte count of layer chicken. Twenty four laying hens divided into 2 groups, the first group of laying hens fed rice bran without fermentation and the second group of laying hens fed with fermented rice bran, each group was divided into 4 sub groups, the first subgroup given spirulina supplementation of O gr, the second subgroup given spirulina supplementation of 0.5 gr, the third subgroup given spirulina supplementation of I gr, the last subgroup given spirulina supplementation of 1,5 gr. Twenty eight days after treatment was done counting the number of lymphocytes in the blood of laying hens. The data analyzed by ANOV A ( Univariate Analysis of Variance), the results showed that feeding of rice bran showed significantly different (p < 0.05) while with the dose spirulina treatment showed no significant different (p > 0.05) and the interaction between rice bran and spirulina feeding showed no significant different (p > 0,05)
