Abstract
The obedience to prevent HIV/AIDS spreading was needed to makeHIV/AIDS epidemic doesn't come true. Transexual prostitution is one ofcommunity that sensitively to HIV IAIDS contagious. They have to prevent it totheir sel f with using condom, never swallow the spenn, and do skrining testregularly.This study was aimed to analyze factors correlating with transexuaIprostitutes obedience in preventing a HlV I AIDS contagion. This study used crosssectional design. The population is all transexual prostitute that joined withSurabaya Transe,,:ual Community (PERWAKOS). Total sample was 40respondents, selected by using purposive sampling. The Dependent variable is theobedience, and the independent variable are knowledge, economic motivation,motivation to make customer satisfaction, and PERWAKOS role. The datacollected using questionnaire and unstructure interview. The data was analyzedusing speannan's rho correlation test with level of significance of p = 0.05.Result revealed that between knowledge with the obedience to preventHIV/AIDS contagion has no correlation, with p = 0.442 and r = -0.125. andbetween economic motivation with the obedience to prevent HIV/AIDScontagion,has no correlation, with p = 0.875 and r = 0.026. motivation to makecustomer satisfaction with the obedience to prevent HIV/AIDS contagion, has nowith p = 0.889 and r = -0.023. Meanwhile, PERW AKOS role with the obedienceto prevent HNIArDS contagion had a correlation, with p = 0.014 and r = 0.385.It can be concluded that the knowledge, economic motivation, motivationto make customer satisfaction, is not always influencing to the transexualprostitute obedience to prevent HlVl AIDS, because its all about get so muchmoney to survival. We hope that the transsexual prostitute will get general checkup or screening test regularly. And Further studies should involved largerrespondent and better measurement tools to obtain more accurate result.
