Abstract

The existence of the informal sector of ambulatory streets peddlers in elities is not merely an economic phenomenon, but it is also a political. cultural and social phenomenon in which the existing transformation indicated by the change of roles, interaction, and social network when the activities are performed. .For this reasons, this study is aimed to find out how the social transformation process goes on specially in individuals or groups roles. interaction and social network. Approach to this social transformation process is performed in the informal sector, specially the Gidden's Structuration Theory. while the macro sociological theories like the Functional Structuration Theory, the Contlict Theory, and the Blumer's Simbolical Interaction Theory. They are used as comparison in finding the social transformation phenomenon by seeking the linkages of its macro-micro sociology.
