Abstract

Stress often happens in the geriatry who is stay ini UPT PSLU. There are various responses caused by kognitive such as dementia. The objective of this research was to analyze the influence of cognitive behavior therapy on cognitive respon of stress geriatry. This research used quasi experimental pre-post control design. Held in 10th august to 21 th august 20 I O. The sampling method used purposive sampling with total sample 18 respondents. Independent variable was cognitive behavior therapy while dependent variable was stress geriatry. Data were collected by using questionnaire for geriatry before and after test and observation responses of stress. Then, it analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann Whitney U test with significant level p <0,05. The result showed cognitive behavior therapy had significant on decreasing psychological responses of stress geriatry on test (p= 0,008) It can be concluded that cognitive behavior therapy effected on stress geriatry. Further study recommended on the influenced of cognitive behavior therapy can increase stress geriatry.
