Abstract
An invitation letter is a request letter intended to invite someone to come to a meeting or representative, which is usually written and formal. A letter of invitation can use twelve tenses and seven organizations to write an invitation letter. Based on the analysis of grammatical structures and organization found in the invitation letter for an academic lecture in Airlangga Global Engagement. The invitation letter used simple present and organization, there are seven organization, including dateline, reference line, inside address, salutation, paragraphs, complimentary close, and signature block.
