Abstract

The final report was written to find out the techniques and strategies used in copywriting of Instagram Carousel Media Indo Pos. In analysing the copywriting the writer used the method of observation and document in colleting data. Based on Prayoga (2015), the techniques that used in copywriting were (1) story copy, (2) you and me copy, (3) forthright copy, (4) hyperbolic copy, (5) teaser copy, (6) news page copy, (7) competitive copy, (8) factual copy, (9) humorous copy, and (10) visual copy. In addition, according to Konstant (2011), there were ten rules namely (1) writing copy based on the combination of audience, medium, and message, (2) avoiding time-wasting of people, (3) making sure there is something for everyone, (4) making every word count, (5) avoiding the audience underestimation, (6) writing anything that can be back up, (7) showing the evidence, (8) getting the point across with no rules, (9) being persuasive, and (10) telling a good story. Therefore, the writer must consider those techniques and strategies to make an attractive copywriting.
