Abstract

In making a good caption, the content writer should apply steps and principles in writing a caption based on sources. In creating a caption, the important things the content writer has to know to make an effective way of writing a caption included delivering information in a good way. The steps of writing in this report are based on Reinking and Ostin 2016, and as the result of observing, there are three steps found, such as brainstorming, drafting, and revising. Meanwhile, it also contains the important principles as Patterson 2009 stated, simplicity and clarity. Therefore, the two things that make the caption easy to read.
