Abstract

To make a guidebook, steps of writing a guidebook must be implemented. Especially cultural guidebooks which are rarely seen. Steps in making a cultural guidebook will be very crucial. The steps used in tengger guidebook are understanding the assignments, brainstorming, organizing ideas, writing the first draft, and writing the final draft. This report also described the grammatical problems that found in the guidebook entitled “Tengger Tribe Guidebook”. The grammatical problems that can be found in the cultural guidebook are verb groups, S-V agreements, articles, prepositions, pronouns, and conjunctions. The steps and grammatical problems findings are analysed to improve the quality of the guidebook.
