Abstract

This study, titled "Puzzle as a Media in Teaching English Vocabulary Part of Body for Kids," explores the effectiveness of using puzzles as an innovative educational tool for young learners. The study focuses on designing puzzles to teach English vocabulary related to body parts, aiming to make the learning process engaging and effective. Four critical elements are identified in the creation of educational puzzles: images, shapes or pieces, materials, and equipment. By carefully combining these elements, the study ensures that the puzzles are both attractive and pedagogically sound. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) helps determine the appropriate vocabulary level for the target audience. The results demonstrate that puzzles are a valuable educational tool that can significantly improve young learners' engagement and effectiveness in acquiring English vocabulary. The study concludes that incorporating interactive media like puzzles into early education can enhance language acquisition and retention, and such tools should be widely adopted in educational settings.
