Abstract

Vocabulary is one of the important things in learning English, especially for young learners (4- 6 years old) and activity books are one of the interesting learning media to learn English vocabulary (Fitrianingsih, 2020). In this final project, the writer has answered two statements of the problem; (a) What were the vocabulary level used in an activity book entitled "Let's Color and Learn"? (b) What were the types of nouns used in an activity book entitled "Let's Color and Learn"?. The writer used observation methods and activity books to answer the two statements of the problem. The observations made were by checking the vocabulary level used and the types of nouns in the Cambridge Dictionary website. The writer used Cambridge ESOL (2011) for the vocabulary level guide, there are six levels contained in the book, but the writer only found five levels in the book that the writer made. Meanwhile, in the second statement of the problem the writer used Mauludin and Ardianti's Sentence-Based Writing book (2022) for the types of nouns guide, from six types of nouns in the book, but the writer only found four types of nouns in the book that the writer made.
