Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of sintrong leaves flour (Crassocephalum crepidioides) on histology of small intestine villi doudeneum in broilers for 42 days. The number of sampels used was 24 broilers. The experimental animals were randomly into four treatment groups, each treatment consisting of six replications with the administration sintrong leaves flour (Crassocephalum crepidioides) at dose of 1%,3% and 5%. Data high and villi width obtained were processed using descriptive analysis is the presentation in the form of images. Parameter measured were histological intestine (villi height and width) of the small intestine. The results of this research data processing using the analysis of variance (ANOVA) method and Duncan’s multiple range test was carried out. The results showed the addition of sintrong leaves flour in feed has effect of height and width of the small intestine villi broiler. It is concluded that the addition of sintrong leaves flour in feed can not distintiction of histological (villi height and width) of broiler intestine.
