Abstract

This research was conducted from December 2021 to January 2022. The purpose of this study was to compare the reproductive performance of ongole crossbreed and ongole-limousin crossbreed on the civilian livestock in Bekri Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency. This study used 30 cows of ongole crossbreed, 30 cows of ongole-limousin crossbreed F1 and 30 cows ongole-limousin crossbreed F2. This study uses primary and secondary data, primary data obtained from interviews with grazier and secondary data obtained from Department of Plantation, Livestock and Fishery Central Lampung Regency, local inseminator, non-governmental institution and relevant study. The data obtained were tabulated and then described descriptively, then processed using one-way ANOVA test with SPSS version 23 to compare reproductive performance. The Service per Conception value in PO was 1.17±0.379, Limpo F1 1.33±0.479, Limpo F2 2.17±0.648 . The Days Open value in PO was 124.63±20,446 days, Limpo F1 141.40 ± 26.583 days and Limpo F2 152.87±22.777 days. The Calving Interval value in PO was 407.20 ± 20.90 days, Limpo F1 was 424.27 ± 26.55 days, and Limpo F2 was 435.40 ± 21.85 days.
