Abstract

"This study aims to determine there are Salmonella bacteria that are Sensitive to antibiotics and multidrug resistance in Ducks at Ds. Tunggurono and Tembalang sub-district, Jombang district. 203 sample of duck’s chloacal swab incubated in Buffered Peptone Water (PreEnrichment Medium), Selenite Cystine Broth (Selective Enrichment Medium), Xylose Lysine Deoxycholate (Selective and Differential Medium), Triple Sugar Iron Agar (Biochemical Testing Typical Colonies). 32 Samples that identificated as Salmonella sp. Is tested by chloramphenicol, gentamicin, cefotaxime, ampicillin, using Kirby-Bauer Disk Diffusion Susceptibility Method. The result show that From 32 samples there are resistant to Chloramphenicol by 15.625% to Gentamicin 6.25 % to cefotaxime to 6.25 % and to ampicillin to 40.625%. and sample number 158.2 is multidrug resistant "
