Abstract

Pisonia alba Span is one of medicinal plants and has been used as traditional medicine for antiindiabetic. Kol banda leaves will be developed as standardized herbal drug. So that, the standardization process should be done and it is begun by determination of standard parameter of extract which will be used. Standard parameter which used in this research refers to Herbal Pharmacopoeia of Indonesia. The results of standard parameters of kol banda 96% ethanolic extract showed that the yield of extract from Surabaya was 17.6% and Kebumen was 14.8%. Determination of water soluble extractive substance from Surabaya was 62.16 ± 0.83% and Kebumen was 65.46 ± 1.12%. Determination of ethanol soluble extractive substance from Surabaya was 56.89 ± 0.69% and Kebumen was 60.76 ± 1.15%. Determination of total flavonoid content from Surabaya was 3.61 ± 0.04% and Kebumen was 2.36 ± 0.08%. Determination of loss on drying content from Surabaya was 16.02 ± 0.23% and Kebumen was 12.87 ± 0.22%. Determination of water content from Surabaya was 9.0 ± 0.00% and Kebumen was (6.0 ± 0.00)%. Determination of total ash content from Surabaya was 18.09 ± 0.32% and Kebumen was 20.10 ± 0.19%. Determination of acid insoluble ash content from Surabaya was 1.06 ± 0.04% and Kebumen was 1.09 ± 0.02%.
